But I would like to see how she might have been with someone closer to her age. Think about the sparks that could have flown with her and Marlon Brando...or Jack Lemmon...or James Dean...

When I think about modern films that feature amazing chemistry between male/female actors (Damon and Blunt in THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU, Stone and Gosling in CRAZY STUPID LOVE, etc) I think that it's really a shame that someone as charming as Hepburn wasn't playing opposite someone closer in age where the sparks could have really flown.Ryan McNeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00440134802928893661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5847155578608673190.post-768009810160831882014-02-19T14:39:48.595+08:002014-02-19T14:39:48.595+08:00Wow, that's a lot of his films! It's so enchanting and the chemistry between Peck n Hepburn is so lovely. I'm a huge Gregory Peck fan and I think this is one of his best work. Hepburn is one of my favorites though...such a star, and I highly recommend watching Robin and Miriam, Two for the Road and Love in the Afternoon for her best turns. Sadly, she wasn't Oscar nominated for any of them, but she arguably should have won for them all!

Peck was the only real shining moment for me here, but obviously my opinion is not shared by most.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5847155578608673190.post-68769988544934000362014-02-15T19:09:51.227+08:002014-02-15T19:09:51.227+08:00Definitely go for a Hepburn marathon - I cannot re...Definitely go for a Hepburn marathon - I cannot recommend Breakfast at Tiffany's enough, I adore that film.
